Customize chart settings in Yahoo Finance for iOS

Select chart settings that suit your needs. Choose whether to show extended hours trading, or change background and scale settings for a chart.

Edit chart display settings

1. Look up a quote.
2. Tap the symbol chart.
3. Below the chart, tap the Settings icon .
4. Tap the Toggle icon to enable the following settings:
   • Extended hours - Include premarket and after hours transaction data.
   • Gray background strips - Enhance time display using shading on the chart.
5. Tap Done.

Change chart scale settings

1. Look up a quote.
2. Tap the symbol chart.
3. Below the chart, tap the Settings icon .
4. Under "Y-axis scale," tap one of the following options:
   • Linear - An absolute change scale (for example: 1 space = 1 dollar)
   • Log - A percentage change scale (for example: 1 space = 1 percent)
   • Percent - A percentage change scale based on the moving average for the chart's time scale
5. Tap Done.
