Add, remove, reorder, and sort portfolio list symbols in Yahoo Finance for iOS
Update your portfolios to keep up with changes in your interests and holdings. Rearrange and sort ticker symbols in lists so your most important stocks are always easy to find.
Add symbols to a list
- Under "Lists" on the Home tab, tap the name of the list you want to add a symbol to.
- Tap the Add icon
in the upper right corner. - Search for a symbol and then tap to add it.
- Confirm if you want to receive news alerts, if asked. - Tap Done.
Sort symbols in a list
- From the Home tab, tap the name of the list you want to sort.
- Tap Details.
- Scroll through the columns on the list and tap on a header to sort by different values, such as "Symbol," "Price," "Change," and more.
Reorder symbols in a list
- Under "Lists" on the Home tab, tap the name of the list you want to reorder.
- In the upper right corner, tap the Edit list icon
| tap Edit symbols. - Press and drag a symbol's Reorder icon
to move it up or down in the list. - Tap Save.
Delete symbols from a list
- Under "Lists" on the Home tab, tap the name of the list you want to delete a symbol from.
- In the upper right corner, tap the Edit list icon | tap Edit symbols.
- Tap the Delete icon
to remove a symbol from the list. - Tap Delete to confirm.
- Tap Save to keep your changes.
