Scoring rules and requirements in Fantasy Football

Scoring requirements - In order to score any points for the week, you need to have a complete roster of 15 players (11 starts, plus 4 bench players).

In Fantasy Football, each of your players score fantasy points based on their real-life performance in several statistical categories (each category has a point value associated with it).

Only the points for the 11 players in your starting lineup count, so make sure you're always starting your best players.

Scoring FAQ

  • Automatic substitution - If a starter doesn't play during a week, the appropriate bench player will automatically be substituted and his points will be added to your team's total.
  • Multiple games in a week - If a team plays more than one game in a week, your player will receive all the points earned in all games that week.
  • Makeup games - When postponed games are made up, the scoring counts for the week the makeup game is played (not retroactively).
  • Transferred players - Players who are transferred out of the league stop earning points but will remain on your team until you replace them.
