How called up players, traded players and suspended, postponed or canceled games are handled in Daily Fantasy

Life sometimes gets in the way of professional sports. Here's what to expect when a player in your Daily Fantasy lineup can't play or complete their game.

Player points for suspended, postponed, or canceled games

Suspended, postponed or canceled games happen most often in the MLB but you can also check out our official Daily Fantasy rules for each sport. Make sure to check your lineup before the original series start time in case any of these scenarios affect your lineup.

• Suspended games - Points earned prior to the game's stoppage will be counted. All lineup changes must be made before the game or tournament original start time.
• Postponed or canceled games - Players won’t earn any points unless the game is postponed and played on the same day as originally scheduled. All lineup changes must be made before the game or tournament original start time.

Player Points for traded players

If contest slates are published before trades are completed, the players involved in the transaction will not accrue points. Please monitor the lobby for additional announcements relating to player transactions.
