Change the time period and scale on full screen charts in Yahoo Finance for Web

Use full screen symbol charts to know the right time to buy, hold, or sell your stock. Yahoo Finance charts provide data from 1 day to as far back as a stock has been traded or data is available. Select greater date ranges to analyze long-term trends or select smaller time intervals to spot the signals to buy and sell. Zoom in or out on a chart to see price fluctuations over a narrow or wide span of time.

Change chart date range

On a mobile web browser

  1. Sign in to Yahoo Finance.
  2. Look up a quote.
  3. Tap Full screen Graphic of the expand chart icon..
  4. Below the chart, tap the Date Range menu Image of the calendar icon..
  5. Select the time range you'd like to view.
  6. Tap Done.

On a desktop web browser

  1. Sign in to Yahoo Finance.
  2. Look up a quote.
  3. In the right corner above the chart, click Full screen Graphic of the expand chart icon..
  4. At the top of the chart, click a standard time range (1D, 5D, 1M, etc.) or click the Date Range menu Image of the calendar icon. to select a custom date range.
